a project by Takashi Aramaki & Chihiro Owada

Aoidh is a project initialised in November 2014 in Tokyo by two musicians :-

 

• Chihiro Owada - Piano, Melodica
  (from Uzu/烏頭)

• Takashi Aramaki -  Guitar
  (from Outer Limits)

 

Aoidh has been focusing on touching and scenic ambients in music by carrying out easy-to-digest improvisations, or by taking soulful songs, e.g. Scottish Highland Gaelic folk songs or American Delta Blues, as ingredients.

 

With such a focus, Aoidh invites guest musicians in their activities.

 

Their major playground is in Tokyo, Japan, however, the year 2015 sees their UK-Japan tour including Edinburgh, London and Tokyo.
